' One Station One Product ' ( abbreviation  -  OSOP ) scheme is passed in Union Budget 2022-23. It is launched by Ministry Of Railway over 19 railway stations as a pilot project on 25-02-2022, with an initiative that aims to promote the "Vocal for Local" vision of the Government of India. After it success it is implemented to more than 1000 railway stations.  OSOP stalls are designed by  National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad  for uniformity in all stalls. As of 06-12-2023, There are 1189 OSOP outlets are operational at 1083 stations.  These OSOP outlets have been allotted to the local beneficiaries which inter-alia include 184 Artisans, 630 Craftsmen, 147 Weavers, 202 Agricultural/Forest product producers etc. Mission ‘One Station One Product’ concept aims to encourage indigenous and specialised products and crafts of India through providing display and sale outlets on railway stations across the country. Nawada District

Nawada district  is one of the thirty-eight districts  of Bihar . Nawada Town  is its administrative headquarter. The district is the easternmost district of the  Magadh division , one of the nine administrative divisions  of Bihar. The area of the modern district was historically part of the Magadh , Shunga  and Gupta  empires. Koderma  and  Giridih  districts of the state of  Jharkhand  lie on the southern border of the district; it also shares borders with  Gaya ,  Nalanda ,  Sheikhpura , and  Jamui  districts of Bihar.   Nawada Railway Station is main station of this district. Nawada is a Town and a Municipality in Bihar state of India. It is also the Administrative Headquarters of the Nawada district . Nawada town is situated on both sides of the Khuri River at around 24º 53’ N and 85º 33’ E.  Right side of river have old stalemate, while left side is modern & have all offices.  Its name is evolved from sanskrit word  'Nau-abad' , meaning the 'New Town' which was earlier known as ‘The Eliot Market (Bazaar)’. It was established as a Subdivision of Gaya district in 1845. Nawada was formed as a separate district from Gaya district on 26th January 1973 & Nawada Town is made as its headquarter.

Nawada Railway Station or Nawadah is only railway station in Nawada Town of Nawada District . Its station code is 'NWD' . The station is currently of 2 platforms & 4 tracks. It is a NSG-5 station. Its overall earning is ₹ 72710886  ( 7.27  cr. approx.) in financial year 2023-24. This station lies in almost middle of  Gaya-Kiul line of East Central Railway zone. Old building of this station is one of " Heritage Inventory of Indian Railway " .
