One Station One Product
' One Station One Product ' ( abbreviation - OSOP ) scheme is passed in Union Budget 2022-23. It is launched by Ministry Of Railway over 19 railway stations as a pilot project on 25-02-2022, with an initiative that aims to promote the "Vocal for Local" vision of the Government of India. After it success it is implemented to more than 1000 railway stations. OSOP stalls are designed by National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad for uniformity in all stalls. As of 06-12-2023, There are 1189 OSOP outlets are operational at 1083 stations. These OSOP outlets have been allotted to the local beneficiaries which inter-alia include 184 Artisans, 630 Craftsmen, 147 Weavers, 202 Agricultural/Forest product producers etc. Mission ‘One Station One Product’ concept aims to encourage indigenous and specialised products and crafts of India through providing display and sale outlets on railway stations across the country.
